Teamwork

This week we have focused on the importance of working as a team. The students have practiced working together and helping one another through different activities each day. We learned that there are different ways to work as a team such as through Math Workshop, Park, and at the end of each day to take care of our classroom.

These students work together as a team to clean up the blocks and to build safe, strong and beautiful structures.

Roma and Tanya work together through Math Workshop. They created this structure with Pattern Blocks for our display shelf in the classroom. 

This week the students worked with buttons. They explored the different shapes, sizes and colors of the buttons. Together they found similarities, differences and patterns they could create with these new materials.

Students have learned to help out in the classroom through different jobs. Are there ways to include teamwork in your home too?
