New Year, New Things!!

The beginning of 2013 has been such an exciting year already. Upon returning to school we have started to explore many new things including the new park, writers workshop and community structures. 

This week the class has been working together to build a stable for baby Jesus. We have worked together daily and reflected on how each person contributed to make such a beautiful structure. On Friday we will have a chance to work together to unbuild the stable.

Climbing through the ropes area has been a new challenge for us. We are taking it slow and going at our individual abilities. 

Anthony is standing strong and holding tight as the students spin together. 

 Students are now welcome to use the fenced in area. MJ is enjoying the ride on a new piece of equipment that spins in circles.

Emily and Roma are traveling through the ropes looking for places to climb and new heights to reach. 

Anchilles and Martin have already climbed to the top of the net area. Very exciting!

Both Kindergarten classes have enjoyed the new places to explore and climb in the new park!

 Throughout the next few weeks we will continue to discuss different challenges, strengths, fears, and goals associated with the park. This whole group reflection will help us learn from one another and feel comfortable and confident throughout our park time.
