The Kindergarten Water class is enjoying the beautiful weather this week! We started talking about different seasons and all the wonderful things that happen in the spring. The students are excited to watch flowers bloom, wear shorts to school and eat ice cream!
We enjoyed having the fresh smell of flowers in our room.
The students did observational drawings of different types of flowers. They easily used the oil pastels and created beautiful pictures.
We learned how tulips slowly open until eventually the petals fall off. These beautiful red flowers grow in all different directions.
Students love the spring weather outside. They love wearing shorts and not having to wear any layers!
Spring weather brings out big smiles in these boys.
As we continue to talk about Spring, I encourage you to look around in nature and view the flowers blooming with your children. Researching and drawing flowers is an excellent way for the excitement to grow throughout our gardening study.
